Hannah & Jannine had an amazing Poole Guildhall wedding. No fuss, plenty of shots, tattoos and getting married were at the top of the list for them. The two girls run an awesome company called 217 events, they Dj and set up photobooths throughout Dorset and the UK.

So the day started with them getting ready at home together; what they were wearing was no big secret and they helped sort each others outfits. Jannine’s bouquet was handmade by herself in about 5 mins flat! She knew what she wanted and tied it together! They headed off to have a drink before the ceremony at Poole Guildhall which is steeped with history.

The Guildhall was first built in 1761 at a huge expense and used as council chambers and market space. Later in its life after a bomb in WW2 destroyed the slipper baths in Poole the Guildhall became the replacement for a time and was also used as a canteen for soldiers in preparation for the D-Day landings. From there it became the new place to get married in Poole after new laws on civil marriage came about.

Hannah and Jannine decided to use the full extent of the building having the ceremony in the larger of the two rooms. Its a gorgeous bright room and suited them down to the ground. A beautiful short ceremony later and they were married, smiles and laughter and some photos on the iconic curved steps then back to the bar for a celebratory drink with a couple friends.

A fitting end to a walk around the town with fish and chips is getting a tattoo, a simple MRS & MRS tattoo. A huge congrats to these two awesome ladies, your day was just perfect.
